's review Rollingstone on the new album of Verden.
The difference between a good bunch of worship, that the sound obsessive attention to identify with it (and with the power of its live), and the impact of a group really made the songs. This is the first chance of Verdena with WoW. Second chance: propose a two-disc set with 27 pieces, a sign of the arrogance of pop cursed ever since the White Album (1968) The Beatles. WoW surprising as the title for the variety of ideas within it, like any self-respecting double lp.
Beyond the usual wall of sound offered by Alberto and Luca Ferrari and Roberta Sammarelli, what is striking is the result of nostalgia, some elegant Italian pop from the 60s and 70s, revisited with psychedelic indolence often great, as in by mistake and it's only Monday, or the beautiful melancholy of shoes flying tail. Despite some filler (especially in the second cd) WoW, a disk that allows you as the penultimate piece of the neoprog great time the album is a brave group apart, prefers to speak only through music.
