than ever this year the tour closing of the collective activities of the CAO was agreed eno gastro-climbing!
In fact, after a fantastic dinner, dinner, a hike to the summit of Pizzo dei Tre Signori.
But first things first.
Saturday we are in 23 to Introbio and start percorerre Val Biandino: in an hour and a half, with some fog and clouds, we arrive at the Refuge Tavecchia (the 24th after he left ... and came in first mountain bike!) . At
evening, the friendly manager starts to tell us that the menu is "what ghe "..... note: there's the first two (with extra portions) three seconds, polenta, cheese, pastries and ... Birolli, of course, with wine (a bit 'of water) and finally coffee and coffee kills!
Not bad for a dinner at the refuge at 1500 meters in the middle of the Alps in Lombardy.
the morning you get up with hard work ..... but part: the sky is promising. The
itineario winds along the beautiful Val Biandino to the shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, then we get up to Rifugio Santa Rita. From there it follows a nice ridge to the summit of the Three Ladies, reached in less than 4 hours before departure.
Clouds, meanwhile, follow us, getting up: when we begin the descent, we are immediately immersed in fog. Too bad! we missed the views of the Lake Trail and Cardinal del Sasso.
The trip is then "transited," yet the Refuge Tavecchia ... just for a quick snack.
Thus ended the last outing of the 2010 CAO: achieving one of the most classic climbs in our area and a popular local festival.
