Hike in Ticino northern
As per tradition of the Alpine passes, joints Lukmanierpass we are greeted by an icy wind, so cold that seeing the Lake St. Mary I think of being on the coasts of the North Sea.
Fortunately the sun during the day smooth feel its warmth, and the price (the presence of wind) is more than acceptable.
The separation between short and long tour takes place almost immediately. The
clear day we can fully appreciate the idyllic scenery that occur around us 360 degrees: snow-capped tops of the sweet profile and a succession of streams and rivers that reach their apex with the lakes and Tom Ritom. The long record
around some ailment among its members, but everything remains under control.
For many participants, the last part of the trip is done with the funicular that Piora-Piotta with its slope of 87% is one of the steepest in Europe (perhaps second only to that of Lake Gelmer). How
always returns to coach is a kaleidoscope of activities: those who talk, those who sleep, who is out looking for money ... nothing new under the sun!
