alpine skiing in Val Furva
Saturday evening we were all in ones and twos Albergo dei Forni: lovely meal and time of departure fierce debate for the next day (Daylight saving time, DST no ....). At the end of the talks it was decided, 6.30 (legali!). The next day, smooth start, the weather is fine, starts to climb towards the goal. With us joined a friend of valligiano Peter finalmante we were all to bivouac on the hill before the summit. From here the summit we had to walk another half hour of steep slopes with frost and snow accumulations over: we have established in common agreement that it was not worth (no one had ever gone up .... could not, on a trip, make a first .... a bit 'risky!), then removed the skins we began the descent. What about the descent? first powder (20 cm on hard snow crust ....), then freeze again overnight carrier: a delicious way to the ovens! At the end we were all happy, even without the top: in a nice climb sevaggio, excellent downhill, good weather! you were ten, plus friend sondalino of Peter.
